With a two-decade career in the entertainment and media industry, Jose Daniel has produced and developed film and television projects with Academy Award-winning actors, directors, and producers. He has also produced theater plays and developed book projects with New York Times best-selling authors and Pulitzer Prize-winning writers.

A native of Coral Gables, Freixas holds a bachelor's degree in History and Motion Pictures from the University of Miami and is fluent in Spanish. He serves on the Amigos Board of Directors for the Cuban Heritage Collection at the University of Miami.
